ACOSS' interest in energy markets, carbon reduction and energy efficiency is primarily the result of our interest in matters affecting low income and disadvantaged people in Australia. Electricity is an essential service and should be supplied equitably, affordably, reliably and sustainably.
ACOSS has been active since 2006 as an advocate on behalf of low income and disadvantaged consumers in development and reform of the national energy market.
